Well, I'm all packed and ready to go for Anime USA tomorrow. I hope to come back with some great pictures and video footage.(My 2007/08 convention video is LONG overdue). Is there anyone else going that I didn't already know of? xD

Also will be updating with links to uploaded photo galleries, like Mikomicon, and some pictures from my birthday back in JULY. XDD;

So, time for the journal entry about this. ^^ I'm doing it just like last year, since it worked out so well.
Here are the full details:

Event: Mickey's Trick or Treat Party
Date: Friday, October 31
Time(for just the special event): 7:30pm-11:30pm
Place: California Adventure(CAA)

TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT. If you haven't gotten your ticket and still want to go, note me since I have an extra ticket(now sold), plus I can tell you where to find more tickets.

Now, you have two choices for the day, you can either just buy the $37 ticket(includes parking) and meet us at the main entrance plaza at 7p.m., or, you can buy a separate Disneyland park ticket($66), and meet us at the front of the Disneyland castle at 12pm. If you can only get there at 3pm, for example, you can call me and I'll let you know where the group is. ^^ Annual passholders of any kind: Friday is NOT a blackout date, so you can use your pass to get in for normal hours, but you still need the $37 ticket to get into the special event at CAA.

Last year I didn't stress this enough, so some people didn't get ahold of tickets in time, but the special event tickets(especially for the date that we are going) sell out EXTREMELY FAST. I'd say within about a month or a month and a half at the latest. What happens is that people buy extras and sell them on ebay at a ridiculously high price. Also, you cannot buy special event tickets at the park, or online the day of the event, even if somehow they still have them available.

Costumes:
-For the special event at CAA: Costumes are allowed, including wigs, etc. No props whatsoever. Also nothing that's bulky like huge wings or something of that nature. You wouldn't be able to go on the rides anyways, so what's the point? XD

-At Disneyland(during the event or otherwise) and CAA not during the event: Costumes are not allowed, but you can go in with your wig and a casual outfit(we did it last year), or something that is a costume(EX: KH2 Riku), but doesn't look like one. Also something that we learned from last year, they won't let you in with any sort of face paint/makeup that isn't on your eyes. if you need to apply something like Axel tattoos or fake facial hair, do it once you've gotten in the park or at the special event. Also, no chains whatsoever.
